SPYROPLZ. And need some advice again.

lol few hours late here but I did actually wait for the count down on Spyro website to end for some news on the upcoming game.

Finally, Spyro looks a bit older! And new features make me me cry with joy ;; Spyro can actually fly YAY.

Spyro made me buy PS2, and now looks like he'll make me buy another console, I just can't say no to Spyro (it is coming out on PS2 but I really want to enjoy the game to the fullest), the ultimate question is which one, guys I need some advice. I planned to buy 20GB version of Xbox 360 at first, it is much cheaper than PS3, but after reading reviews, so called 'Red Ring of Death' concerns me. :/ Does it really happen that often? Then there's PS3, with better graphics and blu-ray player (a big plus) , but it doesn't come cheap. I just don't know. *headdesk*

What are your experiences with those consoles, or which one would you get?

X-Box 360 is cheaper than the PS3.
I have an X-Box 360 and the red ring only happened once to me, "got it fixed for free under a special warranty they made just for the red rings of death"

well if u get an X-Box, the ones recently made are not suppose to have the "red ring" problem.

so, i suggest u get an X-Box

BUT thanks for the info, I'ma oogle at the pretty pictures for a while

Personally, I guess I'd get the ps3 because of the blu ray capability. Big monies, yes, but it seems more ideal.

Ja bym kupił PS3. Konsola microsoftu jest jakaś podejrzana. Albo Nintendo WII XD - ponoć jest fajne. PS3 jest bardziej uniwersalne, bo obsługuje blu ray, xbox 360 ew. używa hd dvd, co nie jest fajne - raz, ze nie ma filmów, dwa, że hd dvd przegrał wojnę formatów (a filmy wcale nie są tańsze, przynajmniej w Polsce...)

so heres the lay down.....
this red ring of death doesnt happen often...that was really only an issue when it first came out...and besides, most stores will let you return your 360 if it breaks......as for the ps3, yes it has better graphics but thats just about it....the games for it...well theres only a couple hits......not worth the money in my opinion.....and besides if ya get the 360...we could exchange game accounts....XD

I hope you make the right choice......Oh and its about time spyro aged....XD

Fuck I had this semi-big post so I'm just gonna say screw it, and get Xbox 360 lol. I dunno anything about this red ring of death but I've played on the 360 before and it was awessuummm. PS3? Eh, doesn't seem as spiffy. I dunno if you can go chatting on the PS3, but you definitely can on the 360. Cooool.

i almost want to cry for joy that he can finally fly ;D and the rating says 'may contain context innapropriate for children' >D -wonders how much of her summer paycheck is going to go towards a new game console now-

sorry i can't give an opinion on any of those consoles though >.> only have a wii and old xbox (which is technically my dads). by the sounds of it it may be safer to go with the ps3 though -shrug-

we have the x360 and the rings of death they fixed for free it is backwards compatible for some of the old games they are trying to do more of the old games there is the arcade games and the ps3 burns the old games so you cant play them back on the ps2 and only a few hit games for it. i also heard that their has been problems for the ps3 i dont remeber what exactly the problems were but i go with x360 or the wii
